		<description>I think David&#039;s &quot;proposal&quot; works to a point, but I don&#039;t, for example, see how it helps SVG which is something Mozilla is committed to supporting yet suffers from a bevy of incompatibilities with common practice (as established in HTML).

		<description>I think David has explained the situation extremely well. I agree that we either need to accept &quot;competing&quot; specifications or get more focused (which really means change the W3C business model).
