It&#8217;s very well written, and covers the entire space.<\/p>\n\n<p>I was particularly impressed by the indepth analysis of the issues regarding\nBCP 56 (aka <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ietf.org\/rfc\/rfc3205.txt\">RFC 3205<\/a>)\n&#8220;On the use of HTTP as a Substrate&#8221;, which Verisign used to\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.icann.org\/presentations\/turner-secsac-dc-15oct03.ppt\">defend its position<\/a>.\nSteve saw right through that, which is easier said than done; there&#8217;s a <em>lot<\/em> of\nsubtlety there, as the\n<a href=\"http:\/\/lists.w3.org\/Archives\/Public\/xml-dist-app\/2000Dec\/0061.html\">XML Protocol WG response<\/a>\nto the IESG (which I co-authored) describes.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Over the weekend, I found a great article by Steve Loughran on the impact of Sitefinder on Web services tools.
