You need only read\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ics.uci.edu\/~fielding\/pubs\/dissertation\/rest_arch_style.htm\">Roy&#8217;s definition of REST<\/a>\nto discover those, things like statelessness, resource identification, self-description, etc&#8230;<\/p>\n\n<p>But I wasn&#8217;t suggesting you <em>were<\/em> a RESTafarian, only that you&#8217;re asking\nthe right questions that, in my experience, lead to REST\/Web enlightenment.<\/p>\n\n<p>What do getStockQuote and getInvoice have in common?  &#8220;get&#8221;.  Can I use getStockQuote\nto return real time as well as delayed stock quotes?  Duh, of course, I don&#8217;t need\ngetRealtimeStockQuote and getDelayedStockQuote for that.
