But coincidentally, I happened to catch a pointer on the\n<a href=\"http:\/\/swig.xmlhack.com\/\">SWIG chump<\/a>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/swig.xmlhack.com\/2005\/02\/07\/2005-02-07.html\">yesterday<\/a>\nto an\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sys-con.com\/webservices\/article.cfm?id=419\">article<\/a>\nwritten by Paul some time ago.  It&#8217;s about Semantic Web Services,\nwhich immediately brought to mind an exchange we had a couple of years ago\nwhere I told him I thought it was great that he was planning to expose the\nfunctionality of their software, but suggested it be done over the Web\nrather than with Web services, which they did end up going with.  Well\nlo-and-behold, but Paul has just\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amboactive\">resurfaced<\/a>\nand\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amboactive.com\/archives\/2005\/02\/07\/whats-better-than-a-little-rest\/\">written<\/a>\nabout his experience with Web services, and how he has now seen\nthe value in the REST architectural style.
