That means that if ever I see the same entry twice, that’s a bug! There’s no wiggle room, somebody’s breaking a rule and I can track it down and harass them until they fix it.
I don’t think so. People see – and determine equivalency of – entries by value, not by identity. If an author – any author – determines that two entries with different ids need the same or similar-enough content, then IMO, when I see those, that’s not a bug.
